Comment: Again - I'm not sure if it's appropriate. This time it's a huge file (nearly 500 KB), and the text won't be readable when resizing the whole thing. Anyway, it's just a little "insight" / tutorial on how I actually did "To the Shore". Maybe it helps someone out there. ;)

Comment: For all those artists out there who need help with cartoon horse anatomy, here is your help! This is not for people who want precise realistic anatomy. Drawing with cartoon-ish horses lets you strech the rules of anatomy. ^^

Comment: Hey guys, I hope this works! *crosses fingers* It's just a video I made one day during the hols when I was really bored and my brother was hogging the internet! This was the smallest size of video that I made, bigger ones are slightly better quality-wise, but you can still make the small one out!
Hope this helps!

Comment:I was making up a few tutorials for drawing horses and I thought I'd upload this to the site - the main points of a horse, illustrated by a none-too-willing Spirit! I think he's bored standing there all the time it took me to draw him, and he's probably also kinda annoyed I tied his forelock back so we could see his face...

Comment: It's kinda big, but here's what it is: The first row shows steps for drawing a simple headshot. The second row shows the same thing, steps 5 and 6. (7 is the mane by itself, to show the shape) Row 3 shows horses' ear positions at different gaits. 1: walk 2: trot 3: canter 4: gallop. Next is 2 forelegs, one with the parts labled.
the last row shows a hind leg, parts labled. Hope this helps a little, even though I'm not great at all this stuff. ^^
