Another gift-art - this time for helterskellter on DeviantArt. I fell in love with her design of Daggoth and couldn't help it... my Jyrki's making fun of the poor Demon horse. ^.^ |

Creatures of the Night - my skeleton-horse Jyrki and chibitrunks' Faelina (another art trade I did on DA). |

Xanacat's character Aiden (art trade I did on DA). Beware, he's evil. ^.^ |

My friend's char Kichaa and my Blaze (looking weird with coloured pencils, I just couldn't get the right colour for his fur and mane). Kichaa's usually a hyena - I morphed her into a Freisian mare here. |

The two horses in the front have already been used in a previous picture (art trade with Midnight Star Stables). I found a new way of painting backgrounds in Photoshop and I just had to try. I'm quite satisfied with this - the lyrics by Clannad were added though I listened to that song while working on the picture. |

A very colourful and ickle piccy for Hannah. Her cuteness made me do it. :P |

Neera's actually a fossa living in Madagascar. Though she asked me to turn her into a horse I just did as she wished... and that's the result. Ugly shading on mane and tail but at least her expression's exactly as I wanted it to be. ;) |

First try on valenti's show-mare "A Charming Spell", American Saddlebred. The tail should be longer
- I tried to fix it but didn't really succeed. So I'll most likly give it a second try, drawing ACS in another pose. - Still she's a beautiful mare. I fell in love with her design. |

Trade done for Midnight Star Stables - these are here minis as "normal sized" horses. From the left to the right: Blue, Joy, Nitrate and Midnight. Joy's head is a bit too big - at least I realized that after finishing this piece. *grumbles to herself* - done in Photoshop. Sky brushes by me, grass brushes... by someone else. *gg* |

Blaze and his mate, Kajerou. They were both loners without any herd that could have protect them or to bear them company. They thought they could get along on their own very well - something no living being's able to do for all its life. Their relationship is based on trust and loyality and they found strength and confidence in each other. |

This is Mirri's warhorse Warantan - a request/comission I did for her. It was fun doing this wonderful character! |

35 |
Not this time of the year again... *lol* Blaze being "cute and cuddly" |
2/17/06 W 618 H 348 |
34 |
Another picture done for Mirri - after she surprised me with some gift art. This is her char Karoon turned into a horse - and Mirri herself, also turned into a horse (she's usually a purple lioness) |

Done for Thorin89 who won a request on deviantArt |

I've never done Blaze as a foal before... so it was about time. Blaze has been outcasted by a foreign stallion (Neviloe) who had been taking over the herd and place where Blaze was born. Blaze is about six or seven months old in this picture. He might not need his mother's breast milk to survive though he's already used on eating grass, but any little creature without a caring herd or adult leads a dangerous and lonely life - and has to learn how to fight for themself asap. Otherwise Death will pay a visit sooner or later. Anyway, we all know that Blaze will make it. He's a warrior at heart. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't know any fears. |

And - again - another char. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with all those stallions, lol. His name's Louis. Anyone interested on TNITB - tell me. ;) |

Blaze and Neviloe - another new char. But though I already have so many, he's also up for adoption on TNITB. Beware, he's a bit nasty. His name isn't an anagram for "evil one" without reason. ;) - The scan isn't that good so Blaze's colours got messed up a bit. *sighs and slaps scanner* |
2/3/06 W 765 H 844 |
29 |
Dew for country-bum on DeviantArt - another trade I did. It's her own grulla-horse. Although some people pointed out that the landscape he's gallopping through looks like water... it's actually supposed to be snow! ;) |
2/3/06 W 624 H 468 |
28 |
Again - I'm not sure if it's appropriate. This time it's a huge file (nearly 500 KB), and the text won't be readable when resizing the whole thing. Anyway, it's just a little "insight" / tutorial on how I actually did "To the Shore". Maybe it helps someone out there. ;) |

Abinisha - adopted and therefore owned by ForgetfulNomie |

So this is the coloured sketch. Shore and ocean done without a reference - but I think it looks okay anyway. :) |

Sometimes it's fun working with a pencil instead of Photoshop. ;) |

I'm not sure if this is appropriate for TNITB - though it is no "real" drawing. I used a figurine of the German Schleich company and repainted it to make myself a "Blaze-figurine". The original figurine was a Pinto, made in 1998 / Germany. Done with acrylic. |

Trade with MAxKhaos on DeviantArt - it's her char Noni. I absolutely LOVE how this one came out, I'm also very proud of the background. |
1/20/06 W 724 H 556 |
22 |
Xanacat's Crystiryx - she did the outlines, I did the colouring and shading. Xanacat's gallery can be found an DeviantArt as well. :) |

All of them! - One of my best pictures so far. |

The fourth one of the "Four Horses of the Apocalypse".
It's Hades, horse of Death, an Orlov trotter. He moves with the mist and bears some fascinating beauty deep within. |
1/20/06 W 728 H 543 |
19 |
The third one of the "Four Horses of the Apocalypse".
It's Ares, horse of Pestilence, all black, Arabian breed. |
1/20/06 W 738 H 703 |
18 |
The second one of the "Four Horses of the Apocalypse".
It's Deimos, Horse of Famine - a very graceful stallion he is, an English Thoroughbred. :) |
1/20/06 W 852 H 730 |
17 |
The first one of the "Four Horses of the Apocalypse".
It's Phobos, horse of War and a warrior indeed. Very proud and strong, Andalusian-breed. |

"Here I am, this is me..." *humms*
A recently done colour-sheet with all the information about Blaze you need to know. ^.^ |

Two of my four "Horses of the Apocalypse", again running pose. I love horses moooove! |

OMG... cuteness-overload after all these dark-themed pictures. I guess I don't have to explain anything about this one, have I...? *hides under
rock* |

Jyrki again. I did this after listening to "August Moon" - and named the pic after another song, this time by Fury in the Slaughterhouse (geez, now that's marcabre name for a band!): "Dancing in the Sunshine of the Dark". - The tombstones were made with a brush-set in Photoshop. |
1/13/06 W 872 H 688 |

Have I already mentioned that I'm a fangirl? - One of my favourite bands are "The 69 Eyes" (goth/rock-stuff) and I turned the lead-singer Jyrkie69 into a horse. If you're searching for photos of these guys in the net you'll soon realise why I chose this skeleton-look. Phew, it was not easy to draw all these bones as correctly as possible. |

A trade I did with ~akio-rayne on DeviantArt. We're both "Harry Potter"-fans... and we obviously share this hobby as well as the scarf. ^.^ |

Shivarou's horse-char again, this time running free with my fursona Blaze. I still love the shading on this one - and again used "real" horses as a referrence. |
1/13/06 W 800 H 549 |
9 |
People asked me to do a "front view Blaze" - so I did. There's also some improvement on shading, outlines and perspective. |
1/13/06 W 324 H 500 |

Again Shivarou's mare Arashy - this has been an ArtTrade. I started to use *real* referrences for drawing, though I live right next to a horse farm and had (and still have) the opportunity to watch these wonderful animals run outside in summer.

Another contribution for the SWG-calendar, this time for 2005 (I drew it in 2004 though). This is the first time I used Adobe Photoshop - and yet again it's Spirit-style. >.< Front-char Arashy (horse-char of a fellow German artist named WhiteWolf / Shivarou) is in Rain-pose, so everyone who notices that... is right. ;) - This is the last picture I used "comis / movie" referrences for. |

Geez, Blaze gained some weight here. O.o - Nevertheless, this has been a contribution to the German SWG-calendar (a furry-calendar) 2004. I haven't done the background though - I just found out how to create such things recently. I apologise for not knowing who actually did that background, otherwise I would credit, of course. All I remember is that I've got it from some free desktops page in 2003. |

I kept on "inventing" my horse-char / fursona Blaze. This is one of my early concept sketches I did and again I tried to invent an "own" style again which didn't look too similar to Dreamworks' "Spirit". Although I gave Blaze an unique marking on both sides of his cheeks, I wanted this horse to look naturally, so no unrealistic colours such as pink and green and earrings and whatever. I wanted him to be a horse that really could be an existing one to at least 95%. |
1/7/06 W 750 H 456 |

I tried to be more realistic in this one - but it's just been a quick sketch. I still liked the result, so I scanned it. And I have to admit that this tiny little headshot-scribble still means a lot to me. |
1/7/06 W 496 H 384 |

Yeah, I kept that Spirit-style for a while. This one had a referrence from the movie. I felt really bad and lonesome when I did this. It was just a yearning for comfort. Blaze - the palomino - is my fursona, Harry
- the black stallion - the first horse-char I ever did (although a black horse isn't something no one would know already, lol). |

You all know the drawing-tutorial on the "Spirit"-DVD? I was watching it, sketching it and then did it again without having that helpful artist on the screen. I had to work with watercolours as well back then
- school's project - so I decided to colour my Spirit-sketch and add some nice background... so here it is, the first official "Spirit"-fanart I did. |
1/7/06 W 850 H 581 |

That's probably the oldest horse-related thing I ever did in PhotoImpact (the programme I used until the end of 2004). I sketched it after watching "Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron", and the following horse-arts I did ALL had the Spirit-style as a referrence. I fell in love with drawing horses - so now you know what this movie did to me, lol |
